Version 0.1.0 Released


This version is my submission for the jam, unless another release supersedes it before the deadline. It is not as complete as I would like, given that I did not have as much time as I originally planned to complete the planned scope. I did complete all primary mechanics of the game though, however jankily, and I did learn a great deal from the jam.

If you play the game or read the design document, please feel free to leave me any feedback.

Here is the change notes for 0.1.0:

Added

  • Implementation of raycasting for the flashlight.
  • Flickering lamps - report these during your patrol.
  • Radio now displays a prompt of when to click to advance to the next message.
  • "Alchemy" theme interpretation.
  • Patrol rounds and event scripting around them.

Fixed

  • Radio now correctly displayes in the bottom left corner no matter the window size.
